DEL RIO TRAIL ART KICK-OFF

Photo of the Del Rio Trail by Heather Hogan

Located along a five‐mile abandoned railway corridor in the City of Sacramento, the Del Rio Trail combines the creation of a trail‐park infrastructure with public art. Sacramento's Office of Arts and Culture commissioned 20 Phase 1 artists to create artwork that raises awareness about the trail and/or engages community members in the creative process.

Join us at the Latino Center of Art and Culture (LCAC) for a fun, informal event to meet the Del Rio Trail Phase 1 artists, learn about their projects and community engagement opportunities during a series of artist presentations, participate in art activities, and mix and mingle with community members. The LCAC's exhibit What You Give, curated by Manuel Fernando Rios and Jose Arenas, will be open for guests to view. Food and beverages will be available to purchase.
