Matthew Flores
Matthew Flores is a ceramic artist who is inspired by the earth and their experiences within it. His point of view is influenced by the natural speckles, streaks of color and depth of texture found in nature, as well as the patina of iron, copper, and concrete found in the city.
Craft
Matthew proposes to create a community ceramic mosaic which uses and references natural and urban elements around the trail. Community members will be invited to contribute to the mosaic by making a unique item out of clay such as a tile, small sculpture, or shape.
