Judah X. Pimentel: Meeting Land Park and The Trail's Community

Obviously, I love to create visual art for my audience to interpret, enjoy, and entice them. However, before I created paintings that refer to the project and the Del Rio Trail, I wanted to let the community surrounding influence me and my practice. How am I going to create art with accuracy to the energy of the people without interacting with them?

For my project, I have been creating video interviews with the community surrounding the Del Rio Trail. Whether they be residents, employees at small businesses, or even art professors at SCC like Gioia Fonda. In these few videos, I am introducing my process within my project, and meeting with long-time professor and friend Gioia Fonda to talk about community and her thoughts on the Del Rio Trail project!
