Jillian Van Ness Children’s Music Workshop on the Del Rio Trail, March 9, 2024

Del Rio Trail artist ambassador, Jillian Van Ness conduced a Children's Music Workshop on Saturday, March 9th at Charlie-Jensen Park. This family music event was created to connect families with very young children more deeply and meaningfully with the Del Rio Trail, with the surrounding community, and with Gerald Heffernon’s public art installation located at the park. The event featured engaging, live-children’s music, including a reprise of the original songs Jillian wrote for the Del Rio Trail in 2023. The workshop included access to shakers/small instruments, bubble machines, and a Del Rio Trail coloring sheet to take home, so everyone found a way to enjoy this wonderful event.
