Josiah Tayag Catalan: Listen to ancient Voices Within a New path
Josiah Tayag Catalan composed the musical composition, Ancient Voices Within a New Path, in collaboration with performers from the chamber music ensemble, Citywater. Citywater is a Sacramento-based ensemble of talented musicians who specialize in new and modern works. This new piece includes Cathie Apple (flute), Amy Lindsey (violin), Tim Stanley (Cello), and Ben Prima (percussion).
Inspired by Josiah’s explorations of the Del Rio Trail, he even incorporated physical objects found on clean up sites along the trail as percussion instruments!
